2008 Canaan Tree Lighting   1st Annual Christmas Festival of Lights Parade at 5:00 pm, and annual Town Tree Lighting sponsored by the Canaan Chamber of Commerce. November 30, 2008

We are inviting you to come with your Fire Trucks, Ambulances, Tractors, Home made vehicles of light to join us in lighting up the Town of North Canaan.

We invite all who want to be involved in this Great Holiday Celebration to bring your lighted vehicles to the Canaan Car Wash to line up at 4:30 pm on 11/30/08

The parade of lighted vehicles will leave the Canaan Car Wash and go down Railroad Street over to Lawrence Field where there will be an official lighting of Canaan’s holiday lights. There will be holiday songs with caroling and a visit to town by Santa Claus.

If you plan to attend please Call Steve Kroehle of the Canaan Fire Company at (860) 824-4827 to help us plan for your attendance in this great event.

This will be a great time for everyone to begin the celebration of the holidays!!
